It's a terrible thing. We discovered that I was allergic to pine and pine scent when I was very young & the Rainbow vacuum cleaner salesman came out & put the pine scent in the vacuum's water chamber. Instant nose-bleed & I could not stop coughing. SO my family hasn't had a live tree since & I feel bad for them for having to miss out on it! Can't wait to hear more baby news soon. Hang in there.
