Interview with a Mommy

I ran across this kid interview a long time ago and it’s been sitting unanswered in my draft box forever.  I don’t even remember where I saw it first.  But I thought it’d be fun to see what my kids think about me.  So I pulled them away from their new favorite movie long enough to answer a few questions.

1. What is something I always says to you?
Carter – I love you.
Lydia – I love you.
Asa – Dadaddad.

2. What makes me happy?
Carter – Getting kisses.
Lydia – Eating broccoli.
Asa – Dadadadadadadadada.

3. What makes me sad?
Carter – Not getting kisses.
Lydia – I don’t know.
Asa – Dadadaddadadadaddddda.

4. How do I do to make you laugh?
Carter – Do funny fings(things).
Lydia – Tickle me.
Asa – Pppllllppppttttt.

5.  How old is am I?
Carter – Ten.
Lydia – Four.
Asa –  (Nevermind.)

6. How tall am I?
Carter – So tall.
Lydia – This much.  (Spreading her fingers apart about an inch.)

7. What is my favorite thing to do?
Carter – Put on socks.
Lydia – Tickle people.

8. What do I do when you’re not around?
Carter – Take a bath.
Lydia – Watch TV.

9. What am I really good at?
Carter – Taking a bath.
Lydia – Tickling.

10. What am I not very good at?
Carter – You’re good at everyfing(everything).
Lydia – Cleaning.

11. What do I do for my job?
Carter – Your job is only doing your job.
Lydia – I…I…I don’t know.

12. What’s my favorite food?
Carter – Chicken.
Lydia – Spaghetti.

13. What is your favorite thing we do together?
Carter – Go on a date.
Lydia – Play.

14. How do you know I love you?
Carter – Because you kiss me.
Lydia – You give me kisses.

15. Where is your mom’s favorite place to go?
Carter – To the store.
Lydia – I need to go potty.
