Last weekend, we had a wedding shower for one of my best friends.
The weather was perfect for a picnic party.
My neighborhood has a pavillion that we decked out in red and white.
I loved the way it turned out!
We used mason jars to decorate the tables.
And to serve the veggies. (An idea I found on Pinterest.)
And we used old peach crates to hold the sandwiches.
(I made the little signs with my Silhouette machine.)
And then there were, of course, the whoopie pies I made which were delicious (if I do say so myself).
It was a nice evening…
…even if it didn’t get dark enough for people to really appreciate the mason jar candle wall.
Which was really, really pretty in the dark of night.
See how pretty?
very cute!!
Love the mason jar decorations. I can’t wait for next year when the patio is hopefully done and we can hang mason jars with candles from the fence and the magnolia tree to give it that romantic feel that I love so much.
I am sure that the couple was so thrilled. Great job to you and your mama!!
It was lots of fun too!
Good job!! It looks beautiful! I’m so glad you had a good time. You’ve needed a little girl time lately!!
I am very impressed. You have such great ideas. I love what you did with the jars. I am so thankful you were able to use them. I have been trying to give those jars away for over a year before you got them. It was just meant to be for the jars to go to such a creative person.
Beautiful!
This is adorable! I need you at my next party.
Looks like a lovely party. I am featuring your mason jar centerpiece on Dollar Store Crafts – I hope that’s all right. You are credited for the idea and photo, and linked.
