Dear Carter,
Last week at church you learned about self-control. Throughout the week, we’ve talked about what it is, and why you need it. After a particularly trying night last night, I was getting you to bed when you said, “Mommy…could you help me get some more self-control? I fink they have it at Target”. Hahahaha! A child after my own heart. Target. Sweet, sweet Target.
Dear Lydia,
You are such a diva. I don’t know where you get that. Noooo, not me. Yesterday you and I went to the store together to buy a baby gift. I always love it when I get time alone with you because your personality really shines through. You chatter non-stop. (Also not a trait you got from me…) You make funny observations, and we usually end up giggling together. I wish I had more chances to spend alone time with each of you…
Dear Asa,
You are thiiiiiis close to crawling. You can get on your belly and start to push up with your arms and legs, but you can’t quite lift your body. I can’t understand; you’re so skinny. (Ha!) You get so frustrated, flop your hands up in the air, look up with the most annoyed look…and then you break into a big old smile. So, so sweet! You’ve also started “giving kisses”. I use quotation marks because it’s more like licking me. You grab my cheeks, open up your mouth and fall right on in. I love it! And I love you…
Love, Mommy
