I’ve thought about Bridge to Terabithia, but I’m not sure they’re ready for that yet.

Have I missed any great books?

and anything skippy john jones.
Any of the if you give a…series as well.
Just finding out about Fancy Nancy too!
I still have some of Marshall’s Encyclopedia Brown books. If you like, I will get them to you.
Clearly I just looked under the “chapter books” heading. oops.
First: I am SO happy that Amelia Bedelia made the cut. She is fantastic! Second: Any of the Oliva books are very nice. Third: The first Fancy Nancy is pretty stellar (that’s fancy for great). Fourth: Always a fan of “Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day” and Fifth: the book I’ve been giving with baby gifts lately is called “It’s a Book.” It’s like a kids’ book, but it’s in the humor section. It is a great way to document technology as it is now and still gives books their due. Long live the book!
Boxcar children. T is almost old enough. Loved them.
Ooooooh….and Bunnicula. And Are You My Mother. I love kid books too….
